MMA was approached by Grindrod’s contractor Subtech to design and supply a scour system that could be installed without shutting down the berth.

MMA designed an inflatable packer to seal the bottom of the jacket leg.

MMA's scope on this project was to develop the grouting procedure, selection of plant and equipment to perform the works, development of a grout mix design, trial run in MMA’s yard, supply of the grout products and grouting of three existing inlet sleeves.

MMA was contracted for the design, supply and transport of concrete mattresses for scour protection at the Hey River and Humbug River marine facilities.
