Fleet Operations General Manager - Subsea
Munis commenced his seagoing career as a Marine Engineer in 1995 with PETRONAS, allowing him to sail on various vessels around the world. After qualifying as Chief Engineer, he advanced his career into the Offshore Dredging industry and started working for Jan De Nul. He later moved to shore-based vessel management positions as Technical Superintendent, Ship Repair and Docking Manager, followed as Technical Coordinator for new built vessels. In 2008, moving to Oil and Gas industry, Munis accepted the role of Vessel Manager with FUGRO, covering SEA and Australasia. Experience has been gained in vessel recycling with Maersk B.V and Green Passport for Recycling Facilities in China. He also possesses new building experiences, delivering DP2 and DP3 vessels for FUGRO, from Shipyards at India, Thailand, and China. Munis joined MMA in 2018 and holds the role of General Manager - Subsea. Based in Singapore, he is responsible for MMA’s Subsea Fleet and executing Subsea IMR projects covering Asia, Australia, and Middle East regions.
